Hey there, I’m Orengasi Bassey (or Oreng for short), and welcome to my little corner of the internet!
A little bit about me—I’m on a journey to becoming a software engineer and I’m currently in the search for a degree apprenticeship in the field. I’ve always been interested in tech, and over the past year, I’ve been teaching myself everything from Python and Django to web development and data science. My background is in animation (yeah, quite a bit of a switch haha), but that’s actually where I developed my problem-solving mindset and love for creative tech solutions.
This blog is where I share what I’ve been learning, whether it’s building web apps, testing out digital solutions, or figuring out new tech tools. It’s all about learning in public and sharing the ups and downs of the process. If you’re into web development, coding, or just curious about tech, you’ll probably find something interesting here.
Aside from coding, I’m fascinated by how people think and behave, with a deep love for psychology. That interest definitely shapes how I approach design, user experience, and tech in general. I also dabble in design and animation when I’m not neck-deep in code!
